UHT Milk

UHT Milk

Thanks to the modern production technologies used by European milk processors, milk has become a product with a long storage period. Take the milk with you when leaving home for a long time. The milk will be useful at places where extraction or purchase of fresh milk is not possible or is complicated.

Milk with a significantly longer storage period is called the UHT milk. This means that milk has undergone an ultra-pasteurisation (UHT - ultra-high temperature processing) that is one of the most modern milk processing methods in the world. For a very short time, approximately 2 - 3 seconds, milk is heated in temperature that exceeds 135°C, and afterwards it is cooled quickly. This temperature allows eliminating micro organisms in the milk that makes the milk go bad. UHT milk retains all the characteristics and taste of a fresh milk. UHT milk is packed aseptically in a special multi-layer packaging, thereby ensuring the storage period of up to 9 months in unopened packaging. The milk can be stored in room temperature (20°C).
